Policies
Terms & Conditions
The ground rules for using this website and engaging AHM Solar — in plain English.
Last updated: 3 July 2026
These terms apply to your use of the AHM Solar website and to enquiries made through it. They operate alongside — and never exclude — your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
1. General
- Information on this website is general in nature and provided for guidance only.
- Final pricing requires a property assessment. Website figures, package examples and calculator outputs are indicative.
- Product availability may change without notice; equivalent-or-better substitutions will always be confirmed with you first.
- Government rebates and incentives are subject to government rules, funding and eligibility criteria, and may change or close.
- Savings estimates are modelled projections, not guarantees — actual results depend on your usage, tariffs and weather.
- Where you proceed to an installation, your signed quotation and installation contract take priority over any website content.
- Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy under the Australian Consumer Law.
2. Victoria
- Installation process: quotation, signed acceptance with a deposit capped at 10%, system design and network approval with your Victorian distributor, installation by accredited installers, and final payment only after installation is complete and working.
- Cooling-off: a 10-business-day cooling-off period applies with a full deposit refund.
- Rebate conditions: Solar Victoria rebates and interest-free loans are subject to Solar Victoria's eligibility rules and program availability; federal STC and battery incentives are subject to Commonwealth rules. Final eligibility is confirmed during the quotation and application process.
- Disputes and complaints: follow our Complaints Policy first. Unresolved matters may be raised with Consumer Affairs Victoria (consumer.vic.gov.au), the Energy and Water Ombudsman (Victoria) for energy connection matters, or the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT).
3. New South Wales
The following applies to NSW installations once our NSW operations commence.
- Contractor licence: NSW electrical and contracting work will be performed under the required NSW contractor licence.
- Installation and approvals: NSW installations follow the same quotation and deposit-capped acceptance process, and are performed by verified partner installers engaged by AHM Solar and held to our quality standards, with network approval obtained from your NSW distributor before installation. Your contract, warranty and single point of contact remain with AHM Solar.
- Contract requirements: where NSW home building legislation requires a written contract with prescribed content for the value of your work, we will provide a compliant contract before work commences.
- Disputes and complaints: follow our Complaints Policy first. Unresolved matters may be raised with NSW Fair Trading (fairtrading.nsw.gov.au) or the NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal (NCAT). NSW customers are never referred to Victorian complaint bodies.
