AHM Solar Pty Ltd (ABN 90 690 695 740) is committed to protecting your privacy in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. This policy applies to our operations in Victoria and, as we expand, New South Wales and other Australian states.

We do not sell your personal information. Ever.

1. Information we collect

• Personal information — your name, phone number, email address and installation address.
• Property information — property type, storeys, roof type, switchboard details and electrical phase.
• Electricity bills — bill amounts or copies you provide so we can size your system accurately.
• Photos — switchboard photos and roof or battery-location photos you upload with an enquiry.
• Quote information — system preferences, budget indications and installation timeframes.
• Communications — records of calls, emails, SMS and form submissions relating to your enquiry or installation.

2. How we use your information

• Preparing and providing quotations, designs and payback modelling.
• Scheduling and completing installations, inspections and after-sales support.
• Preparing and lodging government incentive applications on your behalf.
• Arranging grid connection and network approvals with your electricity distributor.
• Responding to enquiries, complaints and warranty claims.
• Sending service communications; marketing only with your consent, with opt-out in every message.

3. Who we share information with

Only where required to prepare or complete your quotation or installation:

• Authorised installers and subcontractors performing work on your property.
• Electricity network distributors for connection approvals.
• Metering providers where meter work is required.
• Government incentive administrators (for example, STC and battery rebate schemes).
• Finance providers — only where you have asked us to arrange or refer finance.
• Service providers we use to run our business: CRM, website hosting, analytics and communication platforms, under confidentiality obligations.

4. Storage and security

Your information is stored in access-controlled systems. We use appropriate technical and organisational measures — including encrypted transmission on our website forms — to protect it from misuse, loss and unauthorised access.

5. Retention and deletion

We retain customer records only as long as needed for the purposes above and for legal, warranty and tax obligations. When information is no longer required, we delete or de-identify it securely. You may request deletion of information we are not legally required to keep.

6. Access and correction

You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct anything inaccurate, by contacting Info@Ahmsolar.com or 0423 123 329. We respond within a reasonable period and do not charge for reasonable requests.

7. Marketing opt-out

Every marketing communication we send includes a working unsubscribe option. You can also opt out at any time by emailing Info@Ahmsolar.com with "unsubscribe" in the subject line. Opting out never affects your quote, installation or warranty service.

8. Privacy complaints

If you believe we have mishandled your information, contact us first at Info@Ahmsolar.com — we acknowledge privacy complaints within 2 business days and respond in writing. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au or 1300 363 992.

9. Data breach handling

We maintain a data breach response process consistent with the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme. If a breach is likely to result in serious harm, we will notify affected individuals and the OAIC as required by law, and tell you what happened, what information was involved and what we are doing about it.
